Is a year really enough time for all that rockwork? Okay, I'll stop being negative. But Skull Island in a year just sounds.. overly ambitious.

Agreed. But if anyone can do it--and do it well, it's Universal! But Kong in a year!? Wow! They'd better get cracking!

I took the liberty of taking the photo from the tweet and posting it here for those who didn't want to click.

I believe I have stated this before, but someone should drive up to Nassal's north metal works location. I am betting there is a ton of prefabbed rebar sitting in the storage yard.

I'm just curious as to what we're actually looking at there. Looks like the beginnings of rock work, but why are they starting in the back? It's curious

Someone should get up the chopper and get a really good view of that.

Thank you for posting. My employer blocks social media sites so wouldn't have seen it right away had you not posted it

I looks like a part of a temple, maybe the facade or queue?

What an interesting way to start construction....not the first thing I'd expect. It looks like something that would go in after

They might be proof of concept service gates. The first thing they built first in Potter Phase 1 was the entrance arch, and it just sat there forever as everything else proceeded.

With this out there do you think uni has a bunch of this architecture made somewhere else and then moved here? Maybe to get the facade done first then everything else after? Might be totally wrong here

The shapes of those look kind of weird to me... Could they possibly Kong arms or legs? Maybe its just the color throwing me off and seeing what I want to see.

Hmmm. The shape of these are reminiscent of Scottish standing stones. Similar to those at FotH.

Didn't HTF say more of these would be placed in the new Hogsmeade entry plaza? Perhaps these are being built at this location and then being moved when ready. Some will recall when Gru's house was prefabbed behind the sprung tents and then moved to DM overnight.

Cool thanks, man they are going overtime on this. Do you think we will get a announcement soon after diagon opens? At this rate they can easily go for a summer 2015 date

This sounds like a good possibility... the cobra heads camped out in this location for bit awaiting install in FJ.

I did think of the standing stones when I saw that picture, but I thought it was just false association after watching them tinker about making changes for months on end; I thought I was just seeing standing stones everywhere even where they were not! It'd make a lot more sense if this is the case than if anything remotely connected to Kong themeing appeared before steelwork.
