I knew that something was going to happen to Hulk very early on, I just didn't have a clue what it was. I am a total failure when it comes to coaster insider info. So I wasn't passing judgement at all.

The only good options (story/experience) for that area are Quiddich, Chamber of Secrets (which is still a slight stretch), or...

The Battle of Hogwarts. And it would allow the ride entrance to be in Hogsmeade without changing canon. Harry, Hermione, and Ron meet with Aberforth in Hogsmeade and go through the painting to reach Hogwarts. This allows the entrance to go through Hogsmeade directly, get a magical queue experience to get back into Hogwarts for the load, and then experience the most important element of the entire series.

Some good ideas there, but my only issue with a battle of Hogwarts ride is that the 'time period' for Hogsmeade at IOA is roughly around books 3-4, with the USF side being set towards the later books events. It's got to be a Quidditch or Forbidden Forest attraction for me.
I'll miss Dragons, but at the moment I still miss the old Dueling Dragons anyway and it will never be that way again, so I'm happy for it to give up its space in the name of progress.

...But yeah, tear it down. The dragons no longer duel, the re-ride line is no longer open, and the new queue and theming flat out suck. Just give us another coaster, please.

I'd like to point out that I've been designing a concept to replace this ride for a few months now. It's an Intamin Blitz rollercoaster (like maverick at cedar point). It reuses the outdoor portion of the queue. But after turns into a completely different story.
You are caught sneaking into the forbidden Forrest and are sent to meet Hagrid for detention. The car leaves the station and approaches a screen. Hagrid gives a brief rundown, but is interrupted by spiders. The car launches into a dark section. The ride stops and a screen overhead shows spiders decending on you. Out of nowhere the track drops. You survive and are launched outside into a final barrage of twists and airtime hills, before returning inside and saying goodbye to Hagrid. Sorry for the long post, just wanted to share what I have been designing for this location.

I think sometimes we all need to sit back and realize what is happening. With so many projects going at once, it's hard to appreciate the magnitude of the situation. Within the span of 4-5 years all of this and more will have been done. It's insane.

2. Hulk - gutting of a perfectly good ride to make it better.
3. Fallon
4. F&F
5. Volcano Bay
6. New hotels
7. Toothsome
8. Pets
9. New HP ride - just ...for fun?
10. A whole new Third park/ transportation center/City Walk
11. Nintendo Land

I know this is all par for the course, but Hulk and Dragons just scream "victory lap."

I did some sketches and a full fledged 1:1 rendering in Minecraft . I'm hoping to get some Autodesk software later this year to actually do some professional blueprints/renderings.

If you are in school you can get free copies of most Auto desk stuff including max and maya

Wing. B&M and UC might surprise us and build a 4D coaster. No doubt in my mind that B&M has planned and is willing to build something like that. All they need is an ambitious park, but who?

Because to me, if they do a thrill coaster replacing DC; it has to be a wing coaster.

I don't care if it's launching or not, it'd be something that would allow something unique for Universal to contract in essence. It can even be a compact Wing coaster, and you can still cram in a lot of theming for something like that, as long as it matches what Potter tries to show in a way.

Just looked up what that is. Yikes. Even uglier than the current DC if they don't bother hiding it. Hulk works in MSHI. Not so in Hogsmeade.

The question is, what type of 4D coaster did you look at.

I don't want to see a 4D coaster. Would it be cool? Maybe, but it'd be..somewhat of a repairing nightmare.
