Counterpoint: they're likely kids trying to get attention and any "real" spec maps are well known. Unless a major outlet actually picks up such rumors then what's the problem?
I honestly think it wasn’t even so they could get attention, I think they were just tryna have fun and share what they think/hope will be there. Some people didn’t realize it was just for fun and took it seriously due to the fact they put “Breaking News” in the caption.

That’s where the “trying to get attention” part comes in. If you just throwing crap out there and hoping it sticks, it’s not Breaking News, it’s clickbait.
Definitely agree. I saw another spec map post and they even threw on HHN Nightmare’s logo in the corner. They really made sure it looks convincing to those who might not know as much as others, even though it was “just for fun”. To me it’s definitely clickbait.

Lol obviously the two in house IPs are the rumored ones. Wonder if we’ll get Wolfman Vs. The Monster this em year with UCM.

What I’m more curious about are the designs and builds this year. Are they taking a measured approach towards COVID like USH did, or building as if COVID never existed and keeping all that plexiglass on stand by?

If they plan on utilizing the classic monsters for HHN regularly, then please rotate them out every year. Wolfman and Creature for 31, Dracula and Mummy for 32 etc. Would keep it fresh IMO. We've already had Frankenstein's Monster and Bride featured in 29 and 30.

This is what I'm hoping for. If it's another compilation-style house it would be refreshing to see some of the monsters they didn't really use in 29. (Invisible Man like how they did in Hollywood, the big brain aliens from This Island Earth, etc.)

I feel like Creature is the one who really got robbed with the first UCM house and could be utilized more in an upcoming UCM house.

Any word on how guests or Universal themselves responded to Carnage Factory last year? I'd be interested in what they intend to do different with this year's show, if anything.

I feel like the Monsters house at 29 was a sort of re-awakening and re-introduction of the characters into the HHN lore and with so many easter eggs in Brides, they couldn't possibly throw all of that out there without some sort of payoff to it.

I feel like Creature is going to be the next house since it was such a visible egg in the Brides house.

I’m not too sure how often a visual queue tends to actually lead into a future house, but a Creature house would be absolutely incredible. One of the most beautiful films of all time, a house could be stunning.

What's the other besides Monsters?

BTW, Fear Street is Fox so how could they do that?
