Citywalk seems like a more natural place for concerts anyway. Not saying the concerts are bad... but they just don't need them anymore. The plaza stage was designed at a time the resort needed special events like concerts to survive and entice attendance. It made sense when the resort had 2 back to back events offering weekly concerts.
I just don't see how they can justify keeping the concert stage for only 8 nights out of the year when they could expand a profitable franchise onto it.
I'd be all over that popsicle if it wasn't banana lolThis stuff is a major hit. Amazing how replacing one quick service can bring so much life to an area. A dead zone just became a bustling “land” overnight. I’m very happy with the food offerings too. Very very happy.

They have lots more flavors. Made with real fruit too, so taste great. Not artificial tasting.I'd be all over that popsicle if it wasn't banana lol
While I expect it to be open, it’s still a soft opening - so it’s not 100% guaranteed. So is this just open regularly now? Going to Uni on Saturday and want to try this
Bit of a line to get inside Minions Cafe. It’s very popular. I didn’t see a lot of outdoor tables taken tho. It’s hot af so maybe people didn’t want to deal with that. I waited about 5 minutes for a table in the break room. Very cute theming! Loved the vending machine. I got the porchetta sandwich and pet rock. Submitted my mobile order when I got to my table and waited 30 minutes for food. Which is….not great. I’m sure they’ll get things settled but lot of other tables around me waiting around a half hour for food too. Good news is is that everything tasted great. Minion tots are goated. Just need to smooth out ops a bit and it’ll definitely be a hit.

Do we know how the system works in terms of sending orders to kitchen?
If I place a mobile order for Minion Cafe, do I get a time slot? Or can I place it to eat in, from anywhere in the park at anytime, and it only sends to kitchen once I find an open table and scan at that table?

Can you place your mobile order for Minion Cafe, from anywhere in the park? Do you select “eat-in”, at any time, and it only sends to kitchen once you find an open table and scan at that table?
Actually, you can order whenever - but you have to be at your table with an assigned number for the order to be officially processed. So you could order your meal while waiting for the table and then when seated, hit the "Here now" to get the ball rolling. You order from the table using your number.

But no, you cannot choose a time.
That’s interesting…do any other quick-serve restaurants work that way? I like the idea but I gotta imagine they waste a lot of tables with people just sitting and waiting doing it this way.Actually, you can order whenever - but you have to be at your table with an assigned number for the order to be officially processed. Got it. So I assume the order only actually sends to kitchen once you scan at the table / send in your table number.
So definitely potential for the kitchen to get swamped at once, pending how orders come in.
I’m sure it’ll get ironed out.
Red Oven does - you have to put in (or scan) what table you're at.That’s interesting…do any other quick-serve restaurants work that way? I like the idea but I gotta imagine they waste a lot of tables with people just sitting and waiting doing it this way.

I had it and didn’t have issues.Has anyone who had the purple Minion drink had lower intestinal issues (trying not to be too graphic)?
I got a report from a TM that they had some really bad discomfort and time in the restroom, and when they compared notes with the other TMs that had the same drink they all had the same issues...
