Not sure if this is reliable at all but Magic is saying that staff have been told to vacate the offices at Animation Courtyard, which points to Mupperts potentially being safe.
I think something to keep in mind is that Magic Kingdom currently hosts nearly as many annual visitors as both dry Universal parks combined. That’s not an argument for the objective goodness of the Disney parks, of course, but it does speak to how much ground Universal has to make up before it’s seriously challenging Disney.I think an argument that I haven't seen is this - Disney should likely want to make additions rather than replacements, because that's exactly what Universal is doing down the road with EU.
Disney shouldn't want to have multiple large areas of the parks shut down for several years while Uni is opening a shiny brand new theme park down the road.

I agree if they remove Disney Jr then that shuts down capacity. I would say the capacity of Muppets is insane though and I don't think anything that replaces it will give the same capacity, just be more popular.I think it's worthwhile to point out, we're losing attractions no matter what here. There's no room for proper "expansion" at DHS. It's gonna replace something. We just have a lot less investment in TLM, Disney Junior, and Launch Bay than we do Muppet-Vision. I'm not saying it's wrong to feel that way, but it's good to remind that the park will be losing capacity for a time, no matter what happens. That alone is not an argument in favor of keeping Muppets.
Dragonflier is 39" and has one small drop, I would hope we have at least the same intensity of that. While I agree I love that coaster, it is a kid/family coaster with a low height limit. I would think this will be more around 42" or 44" and be WAY longer. But 100% agree it is SUPER smooth and a great coaster for what it is.Dragonflier at Dollywood is the newest Vekoma Family Inverted I've ridden, and I really love that coaster. I don't think we'll see anywhere near the level of intensity as that one, but the comfortability and smoothness of these new Vekoma's is really wonderful, especially when compared to how rickety and bumpy every older Family Invert model is. There's a reason why Legoland FL got rid of Flight School.
Of all the announcements this is the only one that would be a replacement that matters. The other ones barely anyone rides them or they are already closed.I think an argument that I haven't seen is this - Disney should likely want to make additions rather than replacements, because that's exactly what Universal is doing down the road with EU.

Is that the current Mickey Shorts theater? Why not put it in the old Monsters Sound Stage location?

You got two good connected meet and greet spaces on the left too to utilize for Jr.Yeah but it's a shorts theater, I doubt it's drawing them in. Keep the fun post-show area for the kids.
