They KILLED Her backstory!! what really blew my mind was the hints that she is not a descendant of Frankenstein and she is just a Nutcase that bullied her way in lol. Also the bride said it as well at the meet and greet!

I think the bride is lowkey just a hater. I don't know why Victoria would be so motivated to clear the name of Frankenstein if she wasn't really a Frankenstein.

I wouldn't say it's definitive she's not a Frankenstein, but there's definitely a case for it, with evidence for both sides. I hope it's left ambiguous, it keeps her story wrapped in mystery which is how it should be.

Personally, with the physical evidence we have in the queue and what characters have said, I believe that while she is a Frankenstein, she is an illegitimate child that was abandoned. It would explain why she isn't on the family tree, has a chip on her shoulder with something to prove, and wants to be seen as a superior Frankenstein.

Is there anything in the queue for Bride of Frankie or Invisible Man? Even though they're not physically present in the ride.

Heh… that would be a fun parallel to the Monster as that’s basically its whole motivation for hatred in the book. “You created me and abandoned me.”

Agreed. I think Bride dislikes Victoria very much (despite having never met her) and she’s the only one who really mentions that rumor. But i do think it’s really cool that there is village gossip in Darkmoor.

I have yet to have the opportunity to ride but I have enjoyed various POVs, and in each one it seems like the final Dracula has been having some issues. Has anyone else noticed this? In some he’s completely stationary and never comes down from the ceiling, and in others he comes down but the light effect from the daylight beam is illuminated before he even appears so it ruins the surprise. I’m assuming the intended effect is for him to take one final lunge at you and then the daylight beam stops him in his tracks?

I've ridden the ride 15 times and that specific one only worked maybe once or twice. He wasn't working at all yesterday either.

Yeah - Monsters (and Ministry for that matter, beyond the RVs) are far from the final "show-ready" experience.

Monsters is getting there. The only animatronic yesterday that wasn't working was Dracula. Phantom was on and off, but it was working still. The attraction was also only closed down maybe once or twice, was running very reliably yesterday

I had 2 bad runs yesterday with effects. First one was AAs not working, 2nd was screens not working.

Finale Drac definitely is the moment furthest from being fully show-ready. The animatronic has been very inconsistent, and even when he has been working, not only has the timing been off but he's definitely not moving at full functionality quite yet (you can see what that'll look like in the animatronic reveal video and it genuinely seems terrifying).
