I still maintain that if they don't reuse at least a couple of these newer slides at the hotel, that it'd be a travesty. With what equipment they have available, this hotel should have a mini water park.

I imagine they would go higher than 6 floors here since it wouldn't interrupt any sight lines. Also you got some greenery in the lake there haha :bonk:

I like the layout of the garages, there may need to be two toll booths?

It's a berm to block the view of the other hotels on the lake.

Are these garages to replace the current ones? The idea of 18,000 cars descending onto I Drive at once would give me nightmares.

And the garages are to add on to the others. These garages are just to hold extra capacity for extra Volcano Bay traffic

While I understand that more parking space will be needed in addition to the current space, I think what you have there may be a bit excessive if it is as tall as i think they will be (6 levels). I think a garage that takes up the space of your south one plus a some of the north one would be large enough for what they need. It could serve as both hotel parking and post-capacity parking for the main garages.

Basically, where the actual waterpark stood, would be the hotel and where the parking lot was would be turned to Parking Garages.

I think something like this is likely, minus the garages. I see the old parking lot being something more akin to a transportation hub and possibly some shops/dining.

There won't be any shopping/dining in this area because it won't make any sense. Universal would rather build stores/restaurants where people would see them while walking to a theme park.

Also, how can there be a transport hub here if there's no parking space? I dont get it.

This will be a MAJOR complex. There will be Lodging/Shopping/Dining/Entertainment and most likely a stand alone attraction. Therefore, there will be parking.

Transportation hub connecting the WNW properties/Original Resort/Site B. There will be stores at the location somewhere.

The stand alone attraction is interesting. I know Universal toyed with the idea of making RRR available to CityWalk after the park closed for the night.

I think that this is the reason they fought the skyplex so aggressively.

When you say "stand-alone attraction", do you mean something like Characters in Flight and the Amphicars at DS that are more of an "experience" or an actual ride?

Yah, I believe that's why they have the alternative stairs for RRR next to the Blue Man Group building.

Had something similar a while ago.

This one looks like a medical center with the color but same idea with a boardwalk bordering the lake behind it with a sandy beach like acces.

I highly doubt that the current garages get replaces. If that were to happen it certainly wouldn't be the south garage.

This is true. I remember them saying something about "Sightlines". Probably something along the water facing South/Southwest and a 600 ft structure will be there enticing guests.

There are a lot of inconsistencies there, to say the least. All Stars feel+upscale don't go together

The term "upscale" in theme park standards is different than in regular hotels. For example, a DoubleTree is considered upscale and some would say even the value Disney hotels are either on par or nicer than a DoubleTree.

Edit: You make a great point tho. There's a broad perception of upscale hotels.

By All Stars feel it could mean the scale and not the quality of the rooms.

Also, the All-Star pricing range is also what the comparison was for. Just checked and All-Star Sports charges $92.
