Well WrestleMania 28 is in the books. I am a little underwhelmed/dissapointed in the event as a whole. Glad Sheamus won but I don't think the route they went for that one was necessary. Those two could have put on a good match given at least 10 minutes. The Hell in a Cell was great, as expected. Not crazy about Undertakers hair. But it looks like both men will live to fight again. Don't see it being the end for either one. Punk/Jericho was dissapointing. It had its moments, but I'm not sure why they were told to have a slow paced match. These guys are capable of stealing the show with a fast paced match with lots of near falls and counters. Was pulling for Y2J but don't mind Punk winning since I'm a fan.

Rock/Cena was decent. Got slow at times but I was so happy when the Rock won. It'll be interesting to see where Cena goes from here. But the biggest disappointment was no Brock Lesnar. Rumors were crazy this weekend that Lesnar was in Miami and signed a new contract. Perhaps their saving it for Raw. Should be interesting on Raw since its been reported that WWE wants to announce the WrestleMania 29 main event a year in advance

I'm a little pissed I just paid $55 for it.

...

Wasnt the greatest of Wrestlemania... I was expecting more from the Rock/Cena match up. Was rooting for Jericho, ending to that match came to quick and out of nowhere. Still entertained me, and I didnt end up paying all that much for it...

Brock Lesnar is back! Returned on Raw and F5'd John Cena. This was expected by everybody but the return gave me chills. The reaction he got was unbelievable.

Another return that's gonna go under the radar thanks to Brock is the return of Albert/A-Train under the name Lord Tensai. He's spent a lot of time in Japan and has supposedly improved in the ring. Sounds like he's gonna get a huge push as a monster heel and will probably feud with the likes of John Cena, CM Punk etc.

So, I'm back from Miami. WrestleMania was a great time. Nothing compares to being there live. The crowd, the pyros, the atmosphere was electric. Here's some of my pics.

I couldn't believe the Rock won. I jumped up and got all excited like as if it were real. Everyone did. It was AWESOME.

Hell in a Cell was my 2nd favorite. The image of the three of them leaving together was powerful.. feels like that should be the end for all 3 in my opinion, but I think Taker will be back for Mania next year in NY/NJ.

I don't really watch all that much anymore, but I watched last night just to see the fallout of Mania. If The Rock seriously comes back and becomes Champion, I'll watch every night. Lesnar never really did anything for me when I watched though. So his return is a bit of a yawner, especially considering he screwed the company over when he left.

I'll probably try to go to Mania next year considering it's in my neck of the woods.

I'm kinda surprised they went with the "End of an Era" angle for the Hell in a Cell match. It'd be kind of odd to see any of them back after this, and I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of Taker or HHH.

I guess all the Cena haters are getting their wish now, as Cena seems to be the new whipping boy of the WWE.

I think HHH is definitely done in the grand scheme of things. He's too focused on basically running the show. Taker is a different story. But even then, he'll probably just show up around Mania, win, and then disappear. But even then, I think there's a good chance he's done this time.

Oh, I'm sure he'll still win the belt 3-4 times this year. Guy is one of the reasons I can't beat to watch anymore.

Okay I've got to ask; I KNOW we all, as kids, pulled out the mattresses into our living rooms for some wrastlin' of our own. Just wondering what your wrestling name/persona/intro song/gimmick/catchphrases were.

I had two, actually. One was "Dysentery Harry" on account of my name being Harrison and having every "Harrison" I ever created in Oregon Trail die of dysentery. As you might assume, DH had a pioneer gimmick, but no. He was far more generic than that. I wore a backwards hat, like every nineties kid would, and completely ripped off Jericho's intro to the god-awful tune of "My Generation" by Limp Bizkit.

The other was "Raider." I donned a brown fedora and was gimmicked as a seasoned "treasure hunter" who felt the gold championship belt belonged in a museum and not around a man's waist.

I'm anxious to hear from others of their embarrassing WWf/WCW wannabe wrestling personas.

It needed to be done. Admittedly, I was a Cena fan back in the 2003-2005 Smackdown period, but now his goody two shoes gimmick has gotten stale. Something needs to change and the crowd in Miami acknowledged that.

Taker may be gone, but HHH is definitely sticking around as a part-time wrestler for a few more years: http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe..._With_WWE_To_Wrestle_For_Four_More_Years.html

I think there's no way Taker is done. It would make sense for him to go out 20-0 but I think he's got atleast one more in him, especially considering next year will be in NY.

Why do people watch any TV shows if they're all fake?

Im being serious, everyone knows that this is %100 fake. And not all T.V shows are fake. And theme parks aren't fake either.

Its two men, almost naked on top of each other pretending to fight. If your into that kind of stuff thats fine but how is it exciting when you know its rigged ?

Theme Parks aren't real. The actual place is, but it's one big story. It's a fake environment designed to entertain you. The rides have predetermined outcomes within their stories. It's one giant show.

Just because something is fake doesn't mean it's stupid. Wrestling takes me back to when I was young, especially when I see older guys like the Rock and the Undertaker out there.

So are we. Nearly all TV shows are scripted, minus the rare few. Everyone besides some children know that it's fake, but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. They still put on an entertaining story with fun matches. And even though the matches are predetermined, the wrestlers still take quite a beating generally and put their heart and soul into the product. Plus, you generally have no clue who is going to win despite the fact that it is scripted.

The argument is the same as saying CSI is stupid because no one actually gets shot and killed.

This sounds rehearsed. Like you're just regurgitating the lectures and vague reasoning your mom forced in your ear as kid as to why wrestling is a barbaric waste of time. Deprivation as a child leads to :troll: as an adult, I suppose.
