I've only ridden the ride the once and never had any issues with it, well, apart from not being able to connect to the characters (not something I grew up with here in the UK). I thought it was a decent log flume that got you drenched (surely that's half the point of going on a water ride?).

However if it's true that it's going and being replaced paint me intrigued. Look forward to hearing more on this.

I for one am very happy they put the divides in. At opening my dad went on it and got whiplash, and I had a friend that used to work in the photo shop across from it. He said that the number of people that came into that shop looking for medical help from having their face headbutted by the person in front of them was pretty high.

MK Splash's logs are huge. DL Splash's logs (single file) simply have no lap bars.

Agreed. Anything to help. I can't believe how far this ride has come from when it first opened... in a bad way.

Went yesterday, was hoping to ride popeye for the first time this year, but unfortunately it was not open; was good to have Dudley back open though.

Am I in the minority for thinking that Dudley is actually more fun than Popeye? It also has more potential for upgrades, though we might not see this happen.

I definitely prefer Dudley to Popeye. I love both and Popeye is the better ride for a group with varying ages but I love the thrills that Dudley provides. It has its problems with scene quality and capacity but it's the most fun water ride at IOA in my opinion. I'm really disappointed that it seems to be on the chopping block.

It's been a rumor that's been going on lately. Actually, the rumor is that all of Toon Lagoon is on the chopping block for Middle Earth. Popeye will probably just be rethemed (I personally think it should be the barrel scene from the latest Hobbit film), but it's speculated that Dudley will bite the dust.

It'd definitely be a shame to lose Dudley. I don't ride it that much (mainly over the summer), but it's a fun ride (that drop always gets me).

Dudley's only redeeming feature is the drop... The show scenes are terrible.
